Rack Side Mount
The next new product for 2026, we have developed our own version of the roof rack side mount. This is in response to customer requests, over the years we have received a number of folks asking us to provide some type of 3rd row window molle panel. So after reviewing the use cases, some of the other products on the market, we’ve developed our own unique solution for Gamiviti racks, with the following benefits:
Transport small objects outside the vehicle, and on the side of the roof rack. Allows for the transport of Rotopax, Waterport, first aid kits, and more.
Particularly useful on vehicles with roof top tents, where the tent prevents the addition of other items to the rack.
Easy access to items, without the need to climb up onto the rack, open the rear tire swing-out, or dig into back of the vehicle.
No window contact. No vehicle contact. Our side mount is cantilievered out from your rack using 2 10ga steel brackets, and not supported by your side window or rear quarter panel.
Roof Rack Compatibility
This side panel will mount to the rear plate of most Gamiviti racks, and rack with an open rear plate- meaning there is not a side Expo bar running down and in front of the plate. That includes every Land Cruiser rack, from the 40 series through the 250 series. Only racks where the Expo bar is obstructing the rear plate will have an issue running this product. In general, only GX460 and GX470 Essential Expo racks have a compatbility issue with this product, as the rear Expo bars on those racks run in front of the rear plates. Only other exceptions would be some custom racks; any questions about compatibility, and to ask use to develop a GX-specific support arm, just contact us.
