In 2022 we also teamed up with Go Treads, maker of an alternative traction board system compared to the more common Maxtrax, Actiontrax, Tredpros, etc. The difference is that these traction boards are foldable, making them easier to store, and easier to use as levelers. Think of them as the leveling blocks that could also be used in recovery.

As a traction aid they are in general not as good as the other brands mentioned above. They are more narrow, which means they will sink down into soft surfaces (sand, mud, snow) deeper than the competing wider boards. The spaces between the plates allow for mud and snow to come into the traction surface more, which reduces traction on top of the boards, making it very easy to slide off the board. But they make great leveling blocks, so if you need blocks to level out your trailer or truck, and want to get some that may also be useful in a self recovery situation, then this could be your product.
