Retain the use of your lower Expo bar on your Essential Expo rack on the awning side, as that bar is no longer covered by the awning when you flip it up onto the rack.
Less obstruction for any side-mounted scene lights on the rack, as they are no longer blocked by the awning.
Improved clearance through tight obstacles, with the awning no longer out to the side of the rack.
Improved access to the rack for car washes, improved line of sight on the side mirrors, and slightly less wind drag.
Once installed you will be able to choose to run your awning either vertically and off to the side of your rack, or horizontally laying on top of your rack, all without the need for any tools. Awning will stay in either position, under any driving conditions.
