Howl R1
The Howl R1 is the smallest option. Described as the “world’s most portable fire pit” its compact size of 13.275 x 8.43 x 6.05 inches allows it to be stored easily, and a weight of only 10 pounds makes it easy to carry. Once deployed, it can produce flames up to 32” tall at 800° F.
Howl R3
The R3 was launched in the summer of 2026, and fits between the R1 and R4 in terms of size and cost. The main difference between the R3 and R4 is that there’s only one control knob, so the top flame and side barcoal are adjusted together, and can’t be separated.
Howl R4
This is the big one. In addition to the same top burner offered on the R1, the R4 adds 2 additional side burners, providing additional radial heat unlike any other propane fire pit. That means you feel the heat in your legs, even while seated, much like a real campfire. It’s the first propane firepit that will force you to stand back a little bit… it’s that hot, particularly when you isolate just the side barcoals.
