Exped Camping Mats

Gamiviti is excited to be a stocking dealer for Exped, starting in 2025 with our “essential” line of camping mats and pumps. We’ve chosen to focus on just a few of the many choices available from Exped, reduced to the ones we have used and recommend. That said, we have access to the entire catalog from Exped, so if there is any other item you’d like us to get for you all you need to do is let us know. To view the entire line, visit the Exped website. https://www.expedusa.com/collections/camping-mats

Megamat

The original, the gold standard of mattresses, the Exped Megamat has become the #1 go-to for truck camping, tent camping, even short backpacking trips. The size is ideal for sleeping inside a Land Cruiser elevated on a drawer system with 1/2 of the back seat folded down, giving overlanders a great night sleep in any setting. Key features include…

  • R Value 8.1, great insulation value

  • Recycled 50 D tricot polyester, TPU polyether film laminate, honeycomb embossed, OEKO-TEX® 100 certified top materials

  • Recycled 75 D polyester, TPU polyether film laminate, bluesign® approved bottom materials

  • 16 kg/m³ open cell PU foam, OEKO-TEX® 100 tested insulation

Mega in size, comfort and warmth, MegaMat is the ultimate sleeping mat for campers and overlanders who want a premium, reliable, best-in-class sleep experience. With 4 inches of cored foam for reduced weight and better packability, MegaMat provides a soft sleep surface ideal for side sleepers. Dial in your exact firmness further by using the included Top-Up Pump to add more air or by opening the valve to purge excess air.

“I’ve been using an Exped megamat at least five years. It’s as comfortable as sleeping on the bed at home.” Daniel, Denver, Co.

PRO TIP:

It may sound counterintuitive, but if you find that your camping mat is just a little too hard, use the inflate valve to purge excess air. By opening the valve and pressing gently on the one-way flapper, you can release controlled bursts of air to reach the exact firmness you want. If you open the extra-large deflate valve, you may find yourself losing more air than you anticipated and need to top off your mat again.
