100 Series Towers

New in 2011, 100 series Land Cruiser owners now have a new option when it comes to customizing their trucks, and mounting aftermarket roof racks. These towers were engineered with the 100 series in mind, providing a terrific balance between strength, load displacement, and all around good looks.

Similar to our rain gutter towers, these 100 series towers are precision laser cut and formed from 12 Gauge Cold Rolled Steel. Each bracket includes multiple height and tilt adjustments, allowing the same clamp to be used at any location along the 100 series roof line, including LX470 models, providing a single uniform plane across all towers.

The towers come outdoor-grade powder coated BLACK, but can be made just about any color, by you, after a quick trip to your favorite spray paint store. We chose to use white towers as our demo model, to highlight the towers against the black roof rack.

These towers are the first of their kind to incorporate the revolutionary new "7 design," which allows for ease of installation for your roof rack hardware, putting all of your nuts and bolts outboard of the tower, for fast, easy installation. Once mounted, opposing towers create a trapezoidal design advantage, providing both lateral, downward, and front to back rigidity.

The towers come powder coated black, same appearance as the other roof rack components. But yes, the towers above are white, aren't they.. yes you can paint them to match your truck. Here is a place you can contact to get your exact color put into a rattle can:

Every pair of towers comes with a complete hardware kit, to attach the two tower pieces together, and attach the tower to your vehicle. Hardware to attach the towers your rack, crossbars, or other accessories are not included.


to assemble: start with just one tower, and only one of the hardware packets broken open. Line up the hardware as shown, then loosely assemble the tower as shown in the pictures above. Do not tighten anything: you may need to make an adjustment to the height of the tower to mate with whatever rack accessories you're using. This assembly is mainly to familiarize yourself with how the tower goes together.

Most 100 Series Land Cruisers can take up to 8 towers, 4 per side. PLEASE VERIFY PRIOR TO ORDERING that the quantity you want to buy will bolt to your vehicle. To check, simply remove the factory rack, then remove the plastic "track cover," revealing your mounting locations underneath. The pictures shown at the sides are of a 2006 LX470. Rain Gutter Towers

45° Risers - best fit for 40, 45, and 80 series Land Cruisers with factory rack installed

30-60° Risers - best fit for 60, 62, and 80 series Land Cruisers with factory rack removed.

These risers are a bolt-on solution for those who want their cross bars, Gamiviti rack, or custom roof rack to sit up to 2" higher. This is particularly useful with FJ40 hard tops, and vehicles with factory racks where you want to maintain an additional amount of clearance. Risers are shipped unpainted, which means you will need to paint them or powder coat them to match your towers. Sold in pairs, they come complete with hardware to securely attach to your rain gutter or 100 series towers, using the same hardware used in our towers and hardware kits.

Risers measure 3" x 3", with .375" holes inset .5" from the edges, putting the hole to hole spacing at 2". These bolt up to both the rain gutter towers and 100 series towers. $15 per pair including hardware, and $12 shipping covers any quantity up to 8 (4 pair).

So you've seen our racks and are thinking they look pretty cool, but that looks like something I could likely build myself. You're probably right. Your buddy has a bender, another has a welder, and you're just some tubing away from your very own roof rack. If that sounds like you then we've made that journey a little easier when it comes to mounting your rack to your vehicle, by providing our very same slotted mounting plates.

The plates are either rectangular or rounded, depending on where they are positioned in your roof rack. they are made from 11ga (.120" thick) cold rolled steel, and measure 9.5" x 5". The rounded ones have a 2.5" radius to them, cut to mate up with the 3" radius bend of your 1" rack tubing. They contain a series of slotted holes .39" wide and .74" long (at full width) making them ideal for using 3/8" hardware to attach your new rack, using your own or any of our towers. The slots not used for mounting make excellent accessory mounting locations, from lights to hi lift jacks, to awnings, as well as great tie-down points for ratchet straps.

You really can't have too many of these. From lighting, to accessory mounting, to tie-down points, these light tabs are the ultimate addition to any steel roof rack. These are the same tabs used on all of the Gamiviti roof racks, they are custom bent to mount to a round bar, and come with a 3/8" hole. So while our mounting plates also give you additional light and accessory options, these light tabs will fill the gaps wherever you see fit- if you're welding up your own rack, do yourself a favor and add on a few more light tabs, you can thank us later...

Light tabs are $4 each, and $6 shipping covers any quantity up to 10. These are unfinished, ready for you to paint or powder coat after welding.

Two options are available- 45° risers and 30-60° risers. The difference is the riser that connects the gutter clamp section to your roof rack. The 45° risers are designed to fit the 40/45 hard tops, and 80 series Land Cruisers. The 30-60° risers are designed to fit the 60/62 body style, but will also fit the 80 series for those who have removed their factory rack, and desire to have a lower roof rack. The height difference is about 1" between the two. The names come from the angles used in the top riser- the 45° risers use two 45° angles while the 30-60° risers use one 30° and one 60° angle. In the images to the right the longer, flatter tower is the 30-60° towers, and the taller tower is the 45° riser.
