the business of custom designing and manufacturing parts you can't
get anywhere else, with your Land Cruiser in mind, and since we
don't offer the same products, having it all in one place just makes
good sense. So now instead of having to travel clear across
the internet, we can bring you the same great products right here,

To say these roof rack clamps
are beefy is a serious understatement. The brackets are
precision laser cut and formed from both 10 Gauge (.135") Cold
Rolled Steel and 3/16" Hot Rolled Plate. Each bracket
includes two, 3/8 x 16 x 1" bolts for height adjustment, and the
welded in bolt for clamping adjustment. They clamp to just
about any vehicle with rain gutters, including 40, 60, 62, and
80 series Land Cruisers.

The Roof Rack
Crossbars are heavy duty "hat" sections that will hold many
times the weight of regular flat bar. The crossbars are
precision laser cut and formed from either 14 Gauge (.074") Cold
Rolled steel, or mondo-beefy 10 Gauge (.135") Cold Rolled
steel. They come powder coated in a Semi-Gloss Black. It is a
semi-gloss, outdoor powder, making it extremely durable from the
elements and getting beaten. There are 3 different lengths, a
48", a 53" and a 62" to give some choice in ordering and
fitment. These crossbars are formed in "hat" sections, giving
them 4 bends that add strength over the length of the bar. The images below are the 53" 14ga cross bars on an 80 series Land Cruiser, using the roof rack clamps pictured above. |

intended for expedition style racks, with constant 500 pound loads on
them or more.

If your 80 Series land Cruiser is not an LX450, then consider yourself lucky. Because where they have a little sub woofer, you have additional switch locations for both driver and passenger (great for mic holders!) and a big square hole, perfect one of these center console cup holders. These will keep your beverage of choice safe and secure even in the most extreme circumstances, and their fit and finish look great too.
The FJ/FZJ80 has a
cubby right behind the auto shifter. The factory cup holders limit drink
holding capabilities, either by being limited in space, being out of
reach, or both. Well that problem is solved with the center
console cup holder, which adds one more option for either the driver or
passenger.
They are made of durable 18GA steel and can be ordered in either a brown
or grey to match interiors. These cup holders currently come with a 3/8"
hole up front for routing an auxiliary cable for external music, or a
toggle switch. The rear end has an opening to allow for another coin
holder, or a '95-'97 80 series blank or switch.

80 Series Land Cruiser Lip Mount Cup Holder

Originally designed for
the side of the transmission hump (pictured left), these Lip
Mount Cup holders are also very useful clamped to the side of
the center console.
The transmission
hump offers a very nice place to adapt this little unit.
The weight of
the cup holds the unit against the transmission hump, and it's
movable to keep out of the passenger's knee space, there's also
enough space to run two of them side by side.
The cup holder also has a 3" hole to accept the most valuable of cargo, the Starbucks cup (same as the center console cup holder pictured above). Anyone who has ridden in these rigs knows that the passenger's only option for a cup holder is the extra one that slides in and out of above the radio. While that one works, this one does not hamper any of the controls on the dash, nor will it douse your radio with coffee after the slightest speed bump. Plus it is easily removed and stored when not in use, and as you know by now there's a much better use of that space above the radio in 95-97 year Land Cruisers. |

When used on the driver's side of the center console, full operation of the emergency brake is still possible even with a full drink, if the position is back against the stock cup holder. When the emergency brake is not in use, the position can be slid forward allowing for a more ergonomic beverage placement, or the use of a second cup holder.
